Elem Furnishing mobile application (the "App") — a platform designed to manage sales, orders, and field operations, available on Android and iOS.

Information and Permissions We Collect

We request permissions only when needed and only for specific features.

Camera & Photo Library

What we access : Camera and optionally photo gallery

Why : Product images, profile pictures, barcode/QR scanning

How : Permission is requested before use

Supported formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, WebP (max 5MB)

Barcode scanning is processed entirely on-device. No images or video frames are stored during scanning.

Location

What we access : Location data

Why : Used only for attendance punch-in and punch-out

How : Accessed only when you tap the attendance button

Not tracked in the background. Not continuously monitored.

Microphone

What we access : Audio recording

Why : Voice notes for orders and leads

How : Permission requested before recording

Recording starts/stops only with your action. No background or passive listening.

Push Notifications

What we access : Notification permission and device token

Why : Real-time updates (orders, leads, business events)

No sensitive personal data is included.

File Storage

Used for:

• PDFs (order documents)
• CSV exports
• Cached catalogue images

Storage permission requested only when required. Cached data contains no personal information.

Clipboard & Sharing

Clipboard is accessed only during paste actions. Clipboard data is not stored or transmitted. Sharing uses your device's native share sheet.

Network Information

Used to detect: Wi-Fi / mobile data / offline status. No personal data is collected.

Why We Need Your Information

• Improve app performance and fix bugs

We do NOT use data for: Advertising, Profiling, Selling data.

• Firebase (notifications & chat)
• Capacitor plugins (device features)

Data Retention

• Attendance data : Retained during employment
• Chat & voice notes : Tied to orders/leads lifecycle
• Images : Retained while associated data exists
• Device cache : Cleared on uninstall
• Notification tokens : Removed when app is uninstalled
